The Pramac GSW280V is a 275 kVA standby diesel generator with a Volvo engine, rated Stage IIIA. Available to order through Canning Generator Solutions.
The Pramac GSW280V is a canopied standby generator built for fixed installation and automatic mains-failure cover, rated 275 kVA (220 kW) emergency standby power. Prime power is 253 kVA for continuous running. It is powered by a Volvo engine. The engine is certified to Stage IIIA, which remains acceptable for many standby and off-highway applications but should be checked against local NRMM rules. Output is three-phase at 400 V, 50 Hz. This is an industrial rating, covering a factory, a hospital wing or a mid-sized data hall. The GSW Series is Pramac’s widest fixed standby range, running from 9.2 kVA to 4,165 kVA. It covers everything from a small commercial standby set through to multi megawatt plant for data centres, hospitals, water treatment, manufacturing and process industry.
GSW sets are supplied as open skid mounted plant for installation inside a plant room, or in a silenced enclosure for external siting. Larger ratings use a modular design so the control, power and cooling sections can be specified to suit the installation.
Depending on rating, GSW sets are powered by Perkins, Volvo, Baudouin, Doosan or Yanmar engines, all water cooled with electric starting. Canning can advise on the right engine and alternator combination for your load profile and running hours.
