The Pramac PMD 5000S is a portable generator built for light trade, workshop and back-up use, rated 5 kVA (5 kW) emergency standby power. It is supplied as a non emission certified set, which is normal for standby plant that runs only on mains failure and is generally outside NRMM scope. Output is single-phase at 230 V, 50 Hz. At this rating it covers a small workshop, a shop unit or the essential circuits of a house. The PMD range combines a diesel welding generator with an auxiliary power outlet, so one machine covers site welding and running hand tools or lighting. It suits fabrication, pipework, structural steel and repair work away from a mains supply.
The range is supplied on an open frame with a roll bar for site handling, air cooled and recoil started. Single phase and three phase auxiliary output options are available.
Pramac does not publish an NRMM Stage rating for these machines. If your site requires documented emissions compliance, speak to Canning before ordering and we will confirm the current position with Pramac.
